Account and subscription
Email, user identifier, language, access rights, offer, status, renewal dates, currency and Stripe identifiers are used to provide the service and administer the contract. Stripe collects billing name and address and processes payments. Sylva does not store full card numbers. Invoicing also fulfils legal obligations.
Local features
Favourites, language and theme preferences and information needed for offline listening are stored on your device according to the features used. Downloads and access information use browser storage. You can delete them in the application or browser settings.
Statistics
First-party tracking uses pseudonymous visitor/session identifiers, podcast source, language, country, device type and browsing/conversion events. These may be linked to accounts and purchases and are not anonymous. Sylva statistics do not store raw IP addresses or user-agent strings. Storage details are on the Cookies page.
Providers
Cloudflare supplies hosting, network, D1 and R2; Stripe supplies payments, invoices and the customer portal; Resend sends sign-in links, welcome messages and other configured transactional emails. Providers may process data outside the EEA. Transfer safeguards and information are described in their data-protection documents; request applicable details at support@sylvapodcast.com.
Retention
Account information is needed while the account and service are used. After closure, only information needed for legal duties or legal claims should be kept for the applicable periods. Accounting records are retained for 10 years after the relevant financial year closes. Support requests are retained according to resolution and any dispute. Cookie expiry is not automatic server-side deletion. For statistics, technical logs and email records, contact us to find out what is held and request deletion where applicable.
Your rights
Subject to legal conditions, request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability at support@sylvapodcast.com. You may complain to the CNIL (https://www.cnil.fr) or the competent authority. Proportionate identity verification may be necessary.
